Transfers, POS and cash in Lagos
Nigerian customers pay in many ways: bank transfers, POS card terminals, USSD, debit cards and fintech wallets such as OPay and Moniepoint. Cash is still used, especially at smaller washes. Everything is priced in naira (NGN).
CarwashManage does not connect directly to Nigerian banks, POS terminals or wallets today. Your cashier records each payment against the wash and chooses the method, whether transfer, POS, USSD or cash. End-of-day reports then show income per method, so the totals can be checked against your bank app and POS slips. The app currently labels amounts in KES, so talk to our team about naira display before you subscribe.
Available in Lagos, with manual payments
Lagos washes can use all of CarwashManage's day-to-day tools: vehicle check-in, the live queue, photo proof, staff commissions, stock and expense tracking, loyalty, reports, multiple branches, public car tracking and WhatsApp alerts. Payment capture is manual rather than integrated, and the display currency is KES at present. Can I use it with my Moniepoint or OPay POS?
Yes, alongside it. Keep taking payments on your POS as usual and record each one against the wash in CarwashManage. There is no automatic link between the two today.
Does it work during power cuts?
CarwashManage runs in the browser and needs internet. If your phone has data, you can keep working while the grid is off. There is no offline mode.
When can I reach your support team?
Our team is in Nairobi and supports Lagos by WhatsApp, phone and email. Nairobi is two hours ahead of Lagos, so early morning for you is mid-morning for us.
